NSG is a family-based, eco-friendly business which is guaranteed to offer rates far below its competitors. All stones sourced are natural (not lab-created) and hand selected from contacts Mark has made around the world. NSG started in early 2020 after returning from a trip to India for a close friend’s wedding. Deep friendships that date back to 2014 opened the door in purchasing beautiful precious and semiprecious stones from the mines of India. During the pandemic, Mark took the world’s shutdown as an opportunity to deepen his understanding of gems by becoming certified with the GIA. His keen eye and knack for spotting gorgeous stones has turned his hobby of crafting beautiful heirloom quality jewelry for his friends and family into a business now known as NuStart Gems.
NSG has two main lines of business: wholesale sales of precious and semi-precious stones and custom design heirloom quality jeweler. Mark sources all stones himself, personally selecting each stone he sells removing extra costs of middle-man markups passing the savings onto his clients. While NSG has no brick-and-mortar store front, Mark’s devotion to providing top-notch customer service is evident with every sale.
WHOLESALE GEMS
In Mark’s travels to India, Mexico, Brazil, and Arizona, he has built an inventory of precious and semi-precious stones (i.e. diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, tanzanite, opals, etc.). He has also built relationships with those charged with finishing (polishing) stones from the mines so he has access to some of the most sought-after, coveted stones in the world. He has worked at several Gem Shows showcasing his inventory, offering wholesale prices on purchases of individual or bulk buys of stones to other jewelers, retailers, and even other wholesale buyers.
