Returns

​

Every piece of jewelry we create is 100% custom, and most of our diamonds and gemstones are purchased specifically for each piece on our customers’ behalf, which means we can’t take the items back and put them on the shelf for another customer. Because of that, we don’t accept returns or offer refunds or cancellations after payment has been made to secure the stone(s) or after production has begun (whichever comes first). However, if our customers are not thrilled with their product, we’ll modify or remake it at no additional charge as long as any change requests are made within 30 days of receiving the jewelry. We’ll only charge for changes that would have resulted in a higher initial price, like adding more accent diamonds. Adjustments that wouldn’t have impacted the initial purchase price are done at no charge.

Warranty

NSG stands behind all craftmanship and warrant that all items produced will be free from manufacturing defects. Any item created by NSG that is deemed to be damaged due to a manufacturing defect, NSG will repair or replace the item free of charge. If the item is determined not to qualify under the warranty, NSG will offer their client options for repair or replacement at a competitive price.

 

Jewelry is always at risk of issues due to normal wear and specific incidents. NSG does not provide warranties for wear or loss.  The following is a list of examples of common jewelry issues that are not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Stones that fall out or break with the exception noted in the Accent Stone Loss Warranty (see below).

  • Bent or worn out prongs that require maintenance or restoration.

  • Metal discoloration and skin reactions to metal. The precious metals used in jewelry are prone to discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, chlorine, skin, or the air. 

 

Accent Stone Loss Warranty

If any small accent gems (less than $100 value) break or fall out of their settings in the first year after we create the jewelry, NSG will replace the accent gems free of charge, with the conditions below:

  • Opals, pearls, moonstones require special care and do not qualify for free replacement.

  • This warranty is applicable to the first purchaser of the jewelry, and the first person to whom it is given within their lifetime.

Recommendations

​

Routine Maintenance:  We recommend routine maintenance on jewelry every 6-12 months, including cleaning, polishing, and checking the gem settings. This keeps the jewelry looking beautiful and the gemstones secure. 

​

Center stone insurance:  NSG does not sell insurance for client’s jewelry or its center stone for cases of loss or damage. To protect one’s investment, NSG highly recommends clients insure their pieces under a homeowners, renters, or individual jewelry insurance policy. This is a common service that insurers are happy to provide. NSG provides detailed receipts containing product information with every purchase.
